Nandini has gone on to build an impressive career at the intersection of engineering and entrepreneurship. She currently serves as a Project Engineer on Baxter Healthcare’s Automation Projects team. Prior to that, she contributed to the field of immunology as a Product Development Engineer at BioMagnetic Solutions, working on innovative cell separation technologies. Her experience spans medical device manufacturing, MDR submissions, early-stage business development, and venture capital — a well-rounded foundation she developed in part during her time with 1855 Capital.
Matthew was a Petroleum Supply Specialist for the U.S. Army before pursuing his MBA at the Smeal College of Business, concentrating in Finance and Supply Chain Management. Having recently graduated, he hopes to pursue a career in Investment Management or Operations.
Om is a senior Finance and Statistics double major in the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State. At Penn State, he is involved with the Nittany Lion Fund, which is an $11 million student-run hedge fund with private investor capital. Upon graduation, Om hopes to pursue a career in investment banking.
Jack is in the MBA program at Penn State Smeal College of Business with concentrations in Finance and Supply Chain Management. He plans to have a career in Corporate Finance or Procurement.
David graduated from the Smeal College of Business, Bellisario College of Communications, and Schreyer Honors College in Spring 2021 with degrees in Marketing and Film & Video Studies. David currently works in content curation and advertising at Mediaplanet, a publishing house and marketing firm based in New York City.
Jason graduated from Penn State in May 2020 with dual degrees in Economics and Risk Management. After graduation, Jason decided to continue his education and pursue a Master of Science degree in Business Analytics. Jason is preparing for a career in Finance and Investment Management.
Jackie graduated from the Smeal College of Business in 2018. She is currently employed as a Senior Associate at Reevemark, a strategic communications startup based in New York City.
John recently graduated from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State in December. He was in the Integrated Master of Accounting Program, dual majoring in Finance and Accounting with minors in Economics and Business Law. He is currently completing his CPA exams and preparing for the LSAT with hopes of pursuing a career in M&A Law.
Danielle is a graduate of the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State, where she studied International Politics and Digital Media Trends and Analytics. While studying at Penn State, Danielle completed her honors thesis on social media and its influence on governments. Upon graduating, she hopes to pursue a career in the political media sector.
Abby is a Junior majoring in Public Relations with a minor in digital media analytics and a Smeal Business Certificate. During the school year, she is a Digital Marketing Intern for Penn State’s Students Affairs Marketing & Communications Department. She has also interned for Dormify, Hallmark Cards, SCG Advertising & Communications in the past. This summer, she is excited to intern at 1855 Capital and merge her interests for communications and business. Abby serves as the student representative on the Bellisario College of Communications Alumni Board.
