Venture Capital is a high performing investment class in 2021

While 2020 was a difficult year for communities around the globe it created significant opportunity for start-ups  in our community and worldwide. The “economic pause” gave time for many start-ups, including some in our portfolio, to tune their customer focused value proposition and “catch-up” to the market. This allowed many of our companies to emerge in 2021 with renewed strength and apparently reflects an overall dynamic in the Venture Market. Matt Rhodes is a senior executive with experience ranging from start-up funding and management to leading $1B+ semiconductor business. Matt is deeply invested in the Penn State community. He is a 1979 graduate of the Eberly College of Science, receiving a BS in Physics while also a member of the Men’s Soccer team.
